Think your team’s stuck in a rut? Meetings going nowhere faster than a toddler on a tricycle? Let me introduce your secret weapon: a 4-year-old.

Yes, you read that right. (Don’t worry, Child Protective Services won’t be raiding your office.) Hear me out.

Imagine this: It’s Tuesday morning, and your team’s leaning and yawning against and around the conference table.

  • same faces,
  • same bad coffee,
  • same tired groans,
  • same ‘utmost priority’

…another brainstorming session about that plateauing sales campaign.

But today’s different.

Sarah, your marketing genius, walks in with a hand not holding a coffee mug, but a bright red toy truck. Behind her, a little tornado of energy bounces in — her 4-year-old, Liam.

Liam, wide-eyed, distracted, curious and a bit loud, makes a dash for the conference table, his toy truck forgotten for a moment. The blinking buttons on that old school conference phone? Prime targets for his tiny, partially in peanutbutter covered, fingers. Those permanent markers on the table and that oh-so tempting whiteboard? Just waiting to have a masterpiece drawn on it.
